Several years ago when Steve wrote the first addition of The Ripple Effect book he was asked to autograph it, signing just his name seemed kind of boring. A young lady handed Steve two copies of the book she had purchased and asked him to sign it. He asked what the second copy was for. She said she was purchasing it for a close friend.

"So technically you are Rippling on this copy?" Steve asked.

She responded with, "I guess I am."

And the phrase Ripple On was born. From that day forward, Steve has been know throughout the world for  this now famous (or is it infamous phrase "Ripple On"
